2011 Houston Kidney Walk Benefiting the NKF

With close to one thousand walk registrants and numerous volunteers, the day was a fun and inspiring fundraiser that brought together families, friends, and the community to support the millions of Americans who have chronic kidney disease.

The money raised at this walk will enable the National Kidney Foundation to continue providing free screenings for kidney disease across the United States. In addition to free screenings, the NKF is an invaluable resource that provides public and professional programs that educate the community about the prevention of kidney disease. Ongoing research for the treatment and prevention of CKD is also supported by funds raised at these kidney walks.
